2006 Inland Champions are Huw Humphries & Max Todd, from overnight leaders James Peters & Oli Spensley-Corfield. 7 races were sailed at Grafham Water with winds gusting over 20 knots on the Saturday, and more moderate conditions on Sunday. Click title above for results; further report to follow..
Note a change to Schedule: a maximum of four back to back races are scheduled for Saturday with the first race warning signal not before 11.25. A maximum of three back to back races are scheduled for Sunday with the first race warning signal not before 09.55 for 29ers.
The Inlands takes place at Grafham Water SC on 11 & 12 November. This is a shared event with other Ovington classes, and the 420 class. Sailors planning the trip to Argentina are advised to make their entries now; click title above to access the event website, then select Entry Form to enter online. Entry fees are due for payment by 1 November (to avoid late surcharge); contact Alasdair Maclean who is coordinating payment for GBR boats.
Following their Tide Ride success, Will & Pete won the Hayling 29er Open, counting 3 bullets. 29 boats came to the event, and with big waves and winds over 20 knots racing on Saturday was on a course shared with Laser 4000s inside Chichester harbour. Four races provided good spectator sport for those on the Club balcony. Sunday dawned windier, and with gales forecast it was decided to abandon racing.For full results click title...

There will be other classes, but 29ers will have their own race course, and will be aiming for 4 races each day, raced in the same area as the successful National Champs in July.
