Another glorious day on Lake Garda
The second day of the Worlds produced similar conditions to the first with the Ora wind filling in to give 18-20 knots in glorious sunshine. The quality of the fleet is becoming evident with many almost professional 49er sailors and older sailors filling the top slots. However, team GBR are holding their own with great performances from Tom Durham and George Hand, and Max Richardson and Alex Groves lying in 7th and 8th overall. Bleddyn and Nick, and Henry and Sam are also still in the top 25 at this stage, and it loooks as though Becky & Fiona are lying first all girl pair (although it"s difficult to know which gender some of the names are!). Today is the last day of qualifying, after which the top 25 of the 186 will be in gold.
