Good end for GBR boats in Kiel!
The British team did us proud in Kiel with all 7 boats finishing comfortably in the Gold Fleet. With the top 4 boats finishing with only 2 points to split them, Bleddyn Mon and Nick Redding, and Max Richardson and Alex Groves pushed hard finishing on 15 points each in 2nd and 3rd place, and only 1 point behind the winners Kevin Fischer and Glenn Gouran of France. In 6th place, and 1st girls, successfully defending last year"s title and 41 points ahead of their nearest rivals were Becky Diamond and Fiona Hampshire. Art and Ed Romano had a great International debut finishing in 14th place. James Norris and Max Buerger had some impressive individual results to put them in 21st place, and Lilly Carlisle and Becky Wallbank sailed a consistent series to finish in 22nd. James Bollingbroke and Matt Heathcote had an impressive day 3 when the wind blew 18-20knots with 3 top 10 positions, finishing 24th overall. Congratulations to them all. The team now move on to Lake Garda for the 59th Intervela regatta on July1st
